Project Brief
As a way to deepen engagement with customers and produce more qualified sales leads we began development on an interactive product configurator. We partnered with a phenomenal 3D content platform Simply Augmented to create this custom tool. I developed the initial concept and managed the development team through the launch of the product.
The application is an interactive fully responsive, WebGL and glTF based application optimized for desktop and mobile use. The full application road-map includes CRM and SAP integration for customized quotes as well as “View in Room” Augmented Reality feature.

Application Development Timeline
Version 1.0
Completed just in time for touchscreen deployment at the company’s 2020 International Builders trade-show booth. This first iteration included a several dozen featured products from the KOVA catalog, and was designed to gather qualified leads for manual followup.
Version 1.5
Completed 5 months after the original and included 30% more products but more critically, e-commerce cart integration and automation of a “request a quote” process for regional sales staff.
