With an intent to create a destination at the center of the block with a pocket of neighborhood-scale commercial space (Bauhaus cafe) activated by a public open space at the building entry. The residential lobby, amenity, and outdoor court at the center of the site are integrated with the cafe providing a public quality to the ground level. The use of widened landscape areas filtering private residential patios on Harvard Avenue East is intended to soften and filter the pedestrian experience; allowing the building to engage with the street level with vibrance and activity.
